Save service address record to database upon creation from the location app

Maximo 7.6.1.2

  • When the user clicks on the "Create New Service Address" option next to the Service Address field in the Location app. The address code is auto populated with the new service address code/ID on the dialog

  • If the user clicks on "Create New Service Address" button, the address code is copied to the Service Address field on the location app.

  • If the user navigates to the Service Address app through the menu of this Service Address field, it takes the user to Service Address app record and all the fields are empty and readonly

  • The service address record is created when the user saves the location record however the service address record needs to be saved when the user clicks on the "Create New Service Address" button on the dialog.

    Thank you for your submission. At this time there are no plans to implement this change in the next several releases.
