In MAS, all modernized applications place their field labels on top. It is unlikely that this property would be enabled for the modernized applications. Enabling this property in base would create a inconsistent experience for all users when switching between older and newer applications. The design team also felt that it allows the creation of very busy/condensed screens that are straining on the eyes. However, we see the merit of this request, and it will be considered in the future, depending on the interest we see across the broader user base.
