When multiple sessions are created user can work freely in the different sessions. But if one of the sessions timeout or is loggedout all sessions will be killed at same time. Customer request that a session is not impact another session when one is loggout/timeout.

This is useful to let user work in multiple browsers with different applications. This worked in previous Maximo versions but not in MAS.

To work inmultiple sessions is a common solution and makes it more productive to be able to seach for information at same time something is created without leaving a onging activity.

    Hi

    Thanks for the feedback.

We tested the use case and found that MAS is already working as you requested and as designed.

1/ If you run multiple sessions in the same browser, then logging out of one session will log you out of all sessions

2/ If you run multiple sessions across different browsers, then logging out in one browser will not impact sessions in the other browser.

This is by far the most common way most browser based applications work today.

If you see any further issues around this behaviour please feel free to contact IBM support for further advice.
