Request for having revision control on Routes
Working with rail or high-power electrical systems, authority audits will be conducted on a regular basis. This is to ensure that Sund & Bælt performs the necessary maintenance by correctly skilled staff/contractors and on required time intervals on all assets. Saying necessary maintenance means that Sund & Bælt in such audits must present full traceability between performed work and the authority requirements. The requirements are described in Job Plans and together with Routes and the specific configuration of the associated PM, almost full traceability is ensured.
Saying “almost” means that not having revision-controlled Routes, the audit can only look at the “right-now” content of the Routes and the route stops on the work order. But there is no traceability on the changes made on route stops. The participants in the audit can’t actually know whether a Route was changed some five minutes before the audit started.
As an Asset Operations Manager (AOM), I need to have revision-controlled Routes (like on Job Plans), so that I have full insight into which Routes have been changed from what into what, at which time and by whom and by that I will have full transparency at all times of work performed according to authority rules and regulations as well as the auditor will have the same.
Please consider implementing revision notes, where the Route revision user can add his comments about why this change.

Thank you for the submission. We may consider this feature in a future release but will initially focus on adding status (active/inactive) to the Routes application.
