Visibility of inventory items in work order that is waiting on warehouse replenishment

Currently, there is no option available for a work planner/scheduler in the work order application to backtrack the delivery date of inventory items for which the order is submitted and shipment is awaiting from the supplier.

This is blocking the schedulers to schedule the work because, in the power utility industry, they need to arrange a lot of approvals for outages along with requests for access to the switchyard especially when the technician isolates a high-voltage line. So without having an accurate view of materials, it's tough for them to schedule the work, and a number of times the delay of material arrival leads to rescheduling the work.

    Thank you for your submission. Currently in the Work order tracking application there is an action to view PO Information which should provide all the delivery details that are needed by the planner/Scheduler. If you are not able to access that action you should check with your administrator to ensure you have rights set up appropriately.
