With growing privacy rules we should be showing references to people by their Display Name rather than the PERSONID which may be an anonymous number.

In Europe GDPR regulations provide for a right to be forgotten and this requires fields to be anonymised. But you cannot change key fields like PERSONID, LABORCODE, USERID. To get around this you need to create a PERSONID reference that is difficult to be interpreted to the individual, safest is to have a numeric reference. Therefore, we should be showing the display name in Role Based and Mobile applications.

An example would be in Inventory Receiving - Shipment Receiving - Query page where both the Attention To and Shiped By are displayed. It would be better to use the display name of the person.

    As part of the review process, we strive to be transparent about our intentions with each enhancement suggestion. The offering team has carefully reviewed this idea and has decided that it does not fit into our current plans, so the idea will be closed. The idea will be kept in IBM's ideas repository and may still be voted on. It might be reassessed or reopened for additional feedback in the future.     Hi team, didn't get much traction to this idea, so closing as not under consideration right now, mainly with the ability to configure the apps that run in maximo mobile.
