Link QR code to asset locations and assets via the Maximo Mobile app UI

When taking inventory, linking a QR code to asset locations and assets gives the user the option to subsequently go directly to the asset location or asset via the Maximo Mobile app by scanning the QR code and thus consult information, submit work orders, etc.

Thanks for the idea. Question is around ... what would be the content of this QR/Barcode? Are we talking about using Maximo Mobile to generate a code to be tied to the asset/location/inventory item? Or scanning an associated code and linking it to an attribute in Maximo, likely serial number? Can you elaborate more on what will be the use case for this idea?
