MAS 8.10 / Manage 8.6.15 - Unable to open Follow-up work orders in offline mode.

Hello Team,

We are unable to open the Follow-up work orders when the device is in offline mode.
We see that the user is able to open the same FUP WO in online mode. Immediately after the user moved to offline mode, the "right chevron" icon beside the FUP WO is replaced with a text "Follow-up record" and the user is unable to open the FUP WO.

Please find the attached video for reference, where the user is able to open the FUP WO at 0:20 timestamp in the vide, but when the user moved to offline mode by disconnecting the network, the option to open FUP disappears.

The technicians usually work in areas that have limited connectivity and they tend to go offline during the course of their activities. They would like to view the FUP work orders that are created and currently the mobile does not support this feature.

As part of the review process, we strive to be transparent about our intentions with each enhancement suggestion. The offering team has carefully reviewed this idea and has decided that it does not fit into our current plans, so the idea will be closed. The follow up work order creation of the record itself, and all its links to originator WO, is a server side action, which means that the record is really created during sync, not before and hence, the reason why you cannot launch to it when in offline mode. There isn’t much we can do to fix this behavior, unfortunately we’ve attempted already and didn’t find a solution. The idea will be kept in IBM's ideas repository and may still be voted on. It might be reassessed or reopened for additional feedback in the future. We value your feedback and thank you for allowing us the privilege of partnering with you in developing our products.
