Enable Support for Custom Saved Queries on Mobile Devices in Maximo Application Suite

Problem Description:
Currently, the Maximo Application Suite mobile application does not support custom saved queries. For instance, when using a query like ASIGPERSONA to filter specific records, it works correctly in PREVIEW mode but returns all records from the MXAPIPERSON object on mobile devices. This limitation reduces the ability to utilize tailored queries and affects the overall mobile user experience.

Impact:
This limitation negatively impacts mobile workflows as users cannot filter relevant data directly on their devices. As a result, data filtering must be implemented within the app controller, which is not always a practical or scalable solution for custom implementations.

Proposed Enhancement:
We propose adding support for custom saved queries on mobile devices in Maximo Application Suite. This functionality would enable users to filter data consistently across platforms, using the same saved queries that are already supported in PREVIEW mode.

Expected Benefits:

  • Increased flexibility for developers and system administrators when configuring custom queries.

  • Improved end-user experience by allowing access to relevant data directly on mobile devices.

  • Reduced reliance on advanced app controller configurations for data filtering.

Additional Request:
We consider this functionality essential to ensure usability and consistency in mobile implementations. We kindly request that this enhancement be prioritized in upcoming updates to the Maximo Application Suite.
