I am sorry to inform you that our team has evaluated the request and has determined that it cannot be implemented in the near-term. There are some options available though.
Using the icon-group component, you can define the size and add a label to a non-interactive icon using the MAF configuration app.
2. For buttons, you can use CSS customization feature to alter the icon sizes further if you wish. See more here https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/masv-and-l/continuous-delivery?topic=interface-updating-user
3. In MAS 9.1, you will be able to use to define any icon in this list using MAF configuration's new <carbon-icon-reference> ability
4. You can use an <image> in the MAF tool to place a fully custom icon on the page as a visual decoration
