Impliment react-swippable like Component

A swipable component gives the user a cooler experience than having to punch some buttons.
It would just be an area like a button where you can swipe left/right. Can be used to give page flips like next/prev, scroll, etc all from one area.
or a carasell of images

An intuitive interaction with maximo mobile would speed adoption times and improve the user experience.

There are near universal standards.

for example why can't we?

  • swipe down to update a list

  • swipe left or right to go back or forward

  • pinch to zoom on an image

Pinch zooming is not supported for the attached image on the native app.  However, it can be done from a supported web client.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. We truly value our relationship with you and appreciate your willingness to share details about your experience, your recommendations, and ideas. Our team has reviewed this enhancement request and determined that it is a candidate for inclusion in the product.

    We can support the following:
Swipe down to refresh a data list or card group
Swipe left or right to navigate between records when viewing a record detail page

For image pinch and zoom, this appears to be functioning today in the attachment section of Maximo Mobile's Technician, Service Requests and other applications. Can you provide more information about where you are unable to pinch and zoom, what device you are on, etc?

If you would like to be involved in other Maximo enhancements, please email smithjor@us.ibm.com to become part of our sponsored user group, which is a program where you and people in your organization become active participants in the Maximo design process, working alongside our design teams to help us create great future experiences for real target users.
