IBM Sustainability Software - Ideas Portal

This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

Shape the future of IBM!

We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Search existing ideas

Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,

Post your ideas
  1. Post an idea.

Maximo Mobile to display the Datasheet regardless of Loop Calibration or Is Calibration Checkbox

In Maximo Mobile, when a work order is marked as CAL (calibration) and has a datasheet associated with it, the datasheet information is not displayed when executing the work order from mobile if the linked asset is not calibration-enabled. However, the core system does not impose any restrictions based on whether an asset is flagged for calibration or not, and still allows work order execution with the associated datasheet information. Given this, why does Maximo Mobile have this limitation? What is the reasoning behind this behavior, and why is it necessary to explicitly specify whether the asset is calibration-enabled for the datasheet to display? Could this be a design limitation, or is there a specific technical or functional rationale behind this discrepancy between the core system and the mobile app?
