Asset Manager (RBA) - Ability to record the GPS location of the asset

Particularly for utility companies who have mobile assets, for example a generator, we need to know where those assets are located. Therefore we need a function similar to that on the Service Request where we can record to the asset record the current GPS location of the user at the point in time when the mobile asset has reached its destination. We don't need necessarily to track the asset during its transportation, only when it has reached its work destination.

For fixed assets this would also help to identify where on the site the asset is located. For example hospitals, airports, or other large facilities. 

This function would be used during asset auditing to say where the asset currently exists. i.e for medical devices which go from lab to lab, life science companies perform an audit to find the assets needed for annual calibration. Useful to record the GPS location of that asset. 

For mobile assets the GPS location changes over time.

    Thanks for your feedback. The requested functionality to store the current device GPS location as the position for the current asset is already available in Mobile - Asset manager module. It stores latlong as part of the asset service address record.
