Hi - I just tested this theory & it did not work. I have a Work Order with a multi-asset list with inspections. To test the data hierarchy theory above I tried removing the Service Address from the Work Order in Maximo & in Maximo Mobile Inspections app the inspections all showed on the map on top of each other on the Work Order Asset. Then I tried removing the Work Order Asset in Maximo with the hope of the hierarchy looking at the multi asset list in Maximo Mobile but then nothing appears on the map. I'll work out how to raise a support case...I'm testing in Maximo Mobile 9.0.153 Build 20250714-1354 DB Build V9000-74 HFDB Build HF9000-40.
Thanks for your input. Currently there's a data hierarchy used to extract the geolocation information in the inspections app. If the inspection is associated to an asset, asset serviceaddress will be used. Same for Locations. Work orders likely would follow the same pattern and the WO service address would be displayed. If the WO doesn't have service address, the inspections app should fall back and display the asset positioning. If it's not working as described, please submit a support case so we identify the exact version being used and data setup needed to make it happen.
