Improve SSO user experience for Maximo Mobile with MS Entra ID

In our environment, MAS is integrated with MS Entra ID as the SSO Identity Provider, and authentication works as expected. However, when a user logs into the Maximo Mobile app and later logs out, the app redirects them back to the MS Entra login page for re-authentication.

This creates inconvenience for users, as they must repeatedly enter credentials even though SSO is already configured. While I understand that the mobile app cannot replicate browser-like behavior (where cookies are stored and reused for seamless login) — and that shared devices can raise security concerns — there is still a strong need to enhance the overall user experience for SSO authentication in Maximo Mobile.

Possible improvements could include:

Supporting secure session persistence or short-term token reuse.

Providing configurable options for organizations to balance convenience and security.

Allowing silent re-authentication when appropriate device policies are in place.

Enhancing this behavior would make Maximo Mobile more aligned with modern mobile SSO expectations while maintaining enterprise-grade security.

    Thanks for the suggestion. This functionality is already available in Maximo Mobile for MAS. When properly configured with MS Entra ID, the app supports session persistence and silent re-authentication, reducing the need for users to re-enter credentials.
