Ability to force Mobile into Offline Mode for Manage Outages

Currently if Mobile has internet access it will always try to connect to MAS/Manage.

However during planned Manage outages/deployments Manage could be stopped or put in Admin mode.  In these instances end users will be either unable to use Mobile (if Manage is stopped) or in Admin Mode they can continue to process transactions, but with automation scripts disabled during Admin Mode this could result in business processes being missed.

For 24/7 businesses it would be extremely beneficial for there to be a method to force Mobile into Offline Mode during Manage outages.  This would allow messages to queue on the devices and then once the Offline Mode is disabled these would then be passed to Manage and processed as normal.

    For reference this idea was raised off the back of a support case where the behaviour identified above was discussed & confirmed as working as expected (see linked support case in details).

    Will re-open the case based on this IBM response.

    The mobile app is designed to work with local data regardless of the connectivity state. The connection state is also defined based on the server availability, not purely on the ability to connect to an internet.

    If there are any use cases that are not working when connection is available but the server is down, those should be raised as support cases. There is no intent to let the user control the network state from the mobile app.
