Being able to see & edit Service Request Specifications without the need to submit the SR first & then retrieve it & re-edit & resubmit

If using specifications with Service Request classifications the current behaviour is that the Request has to be submitted, then the user needs to refresh the "Active Service Requests" list to retrieve the service request, then the specification questions are visible and can be edited & then the request resubmitted. We have not rolled out Service Requests to our Maximo Mobile users as we think that after the first submit they will forget to do the subsequent steps and we use SR spec's in a workflow to populate fields on work orders so would cause issues downsteam. The Request also has to be submitted first to add a document - it would be great if documents could be added before the first submit as well.

    Hi Fiona, thanks for submitting your Idea!

    I apologize for the late response, I was in vacations and just returning to work. Looking at the behavior you listed above, it makes me think that there might be something wrong with your deployment or a bug in the product. The specifications-related questions must be displayed while creating the SR record, we don't allow existing records to be updated on mobile device, once submitted it becomes fully read-only. Please take a look at the video attached that shows how the specifications must be displayed dynamically in Mobile SR app. Let me know if you see anything different than this, or please let me know if by any chance I misunderstood your scenario.
