Asset Updates by Technicians - Approval based flow is required

Inorder to make use of Asset Update feature in Maximo Mobile, we need to enable a approval based workflow from Asset Manager Application. Currently, Mobile App supports direct updates by Field Technican to asset but that can cause problems or corrupt data, which will impact the functional processes using those data fields.

Instead of direct update, the convenient way is to offer field technician to capture the update from field and save it into an update plan (Available for Asset Spec in Modify option in Workorder Desktop) application. Which can be reviewed and approved by Asset Manager who is in-charge of maintain the Assets. This provides a contolled/audited option to handle the Asset update from field which is also a critical input and seamless way to maintain the assets in the Org.
