The Location drilldown should start from the top level locations which the user has access to.

The Service Request mobile application is designed to be used by anyone in an organization, it must be easy to use. A service requester does not want to click through several levels of a location hierarchy before they find the point in the hierarchy which is relevant to them. It is likely that to restrict the set of locations and assets to those that are relevant that object data restrictions will be used. The location hierarchy should then start with any location where its parent location is null or the parent does not exist in the set of locations retrieved by the query.

Taking the MAXDEMO example, if WILSON is an office worker, they would only be interested in the locations from OFFICE and descendent locations in the primary location hierarchy. If you use an object data restriction to restrict to this set of locations the location drilldown starts with no records displayed. You would need to included all levels above OFFICE to the top of the location hierarchy, and the user will then have to click down these levels where there is only ever one child until they reach the point below OFFICE.
