Maximo Mobile Work Order Out of Sync Notification

A notification message will appear in Maximo Mobile that notifies users when their work order is out of sync with Maximo Desktop.

For example, we are looking for a way to implement a warning message on Maximo Mobile for the following:

1. User A goes offline
2. User B updates a work order field on Maximo Desktop to '123'
3. User A updates the same field to 'abc' while offline 

Expected result:
When User A goes online, they will get a notification their work order is out of sync and have the option to update or cancel their change.

    Hi,

    Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. Unfortunately, after evaluating this idea, we don’t believe it aligns with our product strategy and roadmap. Therefore, we will not be considering it for inclusion in our product at this time. Thank you again for your feedback.

    Thanks for your feedback. At this point in time, there's no record lock feature to prevent a change server side if a work order was downloaded. Also same work order can be in multiple user's device, making this type of control impossible. As part of the current releases, you can turn on background synchronization so the app check for updates regularly as well as individual record updates became available as part of 9.2 release.In our roadmap, push notifications will be user to notify the app that there's a record to be updated. Thanks for your feedback. At this moment this idea will be set as not under consideration.
