Thank you for submitting the Idea. We are no longer investing in Work Centers, this user experience is being replaced with the Maximo Application Framework which has more capabilities and is used in the new Maximo Mobile and Role Based Applications. If you want to configure the existing Work Center, this is possible to change at your own risk. These changes are not supported by IBM but here are the steps needed to update the SR app so it always opens to the Create New Page.
Find and update the following file: maximo-x/script/workscape/workscape-selfservice.html
Open the file and look for the “ready” function.
In the first line of the function have them add à $M.setSubRoute('new');

FROM

TO:
ready : function(){
$M.setSubRoute('new');
this.$.filterSiteSys.fetchProperty();

Final Step:
Finally, once you make the update to the file and save the file, they will need to rebuild the maximo-x war file and redeploy.
Hi,
Just a peace of advice but it would be best if you did not include your company Maximo Start Center landing page.
This could provide people with a valid URL to start malicious attacks from.
Better off anonymizing i.e. (https://<server>.maximo.com/maximo-x/#/selfservice/new) or removing it completely.
