User have multiple Revit Versions (for example 2024 and 2025) on their laptop and few Revit models are in 2024 version and few are in 2025. Due to vendor dependency they can't upgrade 2024 models to 2025. They are working on synching these models to TRIRIGA and installed BIM Connector 5.1 for their 2024 version. And they are trying to install BIM MREF9.1 version to Revit 2025. But IBM BIM plugin files are shared between these version at any point of time they can have only one version of BIM plugin. To install BIM MREF 9.1 user need to uninstall 5.1 and install the latest version. If user need to go back to 5.1 they need to uninstall BIM MREF 9.1 and install 5.1. Hope this helps
Hello, Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. I need a little more information to understand your idea.
Regarding the Revit versions, can you provide a scenario as to why two versions of Revit would be installed at the same time?
I look forward to your response.
Thank you again for your feedback.
