Desktop application MAP

The users don't have always a object to select to get to the map. In fact, in some cases the user get the info that some work should be done and yet they have to open the map to figure out what happening , and than to decide whether to 

  • update an existing workorder with some other tasks or assets 
  • create a new work order when selecting some objects from the map 
  • etc etc

    Thanks for bringing this up, it’s a very valid point.

    We actually already have an item in the Spatial backlog to support a similar capability, especially for the Desktop experience, where users can open the map without starting from a specific object and then initiate actions directly from the spatial context.

    Your input reinforces the need for this feature, and it will certainly be considered as we evaluate the prioritization of this backlog item for future releases.
