Changes made to access options/items within the Tool Items dialog under the Map tab in Application Designer should be saved successfully when the user clicks Save, regardless of whether the dialog is open or closed. Currently If the user clicks Save while the dialog is still open, the changes are not saved.

Required Functionality:
Changes made to access options/items within the Tool Items dialog under the Map tab in Application Designer should be saved successfully when the user clicks Save, regardless of whether the dialog is open or closed.

Current Behavior:
If the user clicks Save while the dialog is still open, the changes are not saved.
Only when the dialog is closed before saving are the changes saved correctly.

Why This Is Useful:

  • Ensures consistent and reliable saving of configuration changes.

    Thank you for highlighting this behavior and providing a clear description of the expected functionality. Although the issue was observed within the Map tab, the Application Designer is not owned or maintained by the Maximo Spatial team. This functionality is part of the core framework and is managed by the Maximo Manage team. That said, I will redirect this internally to the Manage team for further analysis. In the meantime, I’m setting the status to Future consideration so the responsible team can properly evaluate the scenario and determine the appropriate path forward. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as it helps improve overall usability and consistency across the platform.
