RELATED IDEAS

Launch ArcGIS functions through the map and have the result displayed

The idea is to permit to the user to launch fucntion from the map directly for par example a particular Equipement (Function Trace for UN, closure of a vanne) and see the result of this function directly on the map (see the impact of the closure on the network) , some functions may be need some input parameter or just an update of an attribute.

    Thank you for submitting this Idea. We see significant value in enabling users to initiate ArcGIS capabilities directly from the Maximo Spatial map and visualize the results within the same experience.

    This direction is aligned with how we envision evolving the integration between Maximo Spatial and ArcGIS. Some specific capabilities, such as network-related operations, are already areas we are actively exploring and evolving.

    However, supporting this concept more broadly requires additional capabilities and architectural improvements to provide a consistent, secure, and configurable experience across different ArcGIS functions and use cases.

    For this reason, we are moving this Idea to Future Consideration. We will keep it as an input to our roadmap as the underlying integration capabilities continue to evolve.
