Need to create Linear Workorder on spatial while using a Linear Asset or Line Geometry in the Workorder

With Linear workorder creation using Auto-Create action in Workorder application having a Linear Asset GIS object, its not creating workorder as a Line in Spatial Map. But when I manually drawing the Line using edit tool it is getting saved.

Expectation is to have the Linear WO on Spatial Map with start and end measures inherited from Linear asset (related record) referenced in the Workorder. 

We would need to have this feature with Workorder and Ticket auto-create options.

    Here basically if the user overrides the start/end measure in workorder with a shorter segment, then the linear referencing method needs to be used for the geometry. 

    For Example, if the linear asset is 10 km long and the maintenance work is planned only for 2km, shorter segment in between, the workorder should be represented as 2 KM line only in the map
