Scheduled reports should generate in the users timezone, not server

As a dedicated user of Maximo, timely and accurate information is crucial for my business operations. I rely heavily on scheduled reports to drive my daily decisions and to ensure the smooth functioning of my processes. When I schedule a report to be released at 6am, it's not just a random preference, but a vital requirement for my business.

However, the current setup in Maximo does not seem to consistently factor in daylight savings changes with regard to user time zones. When there's a discrepancy between my local time and the server's time due to daylight savings, my report doesn't arrive at the intended 6am slot. This not only disrupts my workflow but can also lead to potential operational delays and inefficiencies.

    Hi team,

    For our Company, it is a daylight saving time issue (issue is occurring twice a year: in March and October).

    HI Kim,

    No only when daylight savings occurs and the user is not in the same time zone as the server.
