Maximo UPC Application

The ability to associate one or more a upc codes with an item.

Ability to search the item on the UPC record to associate a new Item with the UPC

Add the UPC field (or list) to the Item record

Add a URL to punch out to the manufacturer website to get an image or specifications

Potentially use classifications to list specifications

Use Watson X to grab the specifications from the Manufacturers (or vendors) website and populate the specifications.

Ability to move the specifications to the Item.

Use cases:

Finding an item, wherever and quickly identifying it with a simple scan.

When setting up an existing storeroom in Maximo.

Scan the upc into Maximo during the receiving process.
