Apostrophe support in Email IDs

Lot of people especially from Europe region have Apostrophe in their names and email IDs. MAS does not support it and hence it is a challenge to address this issue especially when SSO is configured.

    The workaround was only temporary. The issue was fixed in 8.10.8.

    Workaround of asking IT to recreate email address without apostrophe is not going to be viable for some customers that already have users with apostrophe in email address which may be used for other business systems already. Microsoft Office 365 allows to have an apostrophe in email address. My client doesn't accept such workaround as fix. IBM must fix MAS properly to support apostrophe in email address.
