This capability is available in the latest versions of MAS using the CSV import mechanism: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/mas-cd/continuous-delivery?topic=access-import-user-template
Hello, I totally support the last comment.
This feature should support the bulk update of existing user's passwords. Is specially helpfull when the amount of users is high.
Best regards,
I have submitted a PMR for this thinking updating existing user's passwords should be there already. Also, there are a bunch of fields required to be on the CSV (phone numbers, emails, etc.) which are not friendly towards updating data. In theory, to update we should be able to specify only the record ID (login, etc.) and the fields we want to change (licensing assignments, passwords, etc.).
This is mostly to make upgrades work better as the users will be already defined in the Suite from the Maximo DB but their passwords and entitlement will need to be reset.
Thank you for your consideration.
Hi - Thanks for the Idea.
We are exploring a number of use cases around bulk user management for improvement in a future release. I've added this use case to the scope for consideration.
This Idea is being moved to the MAS Common Services team for evaluation.
