Need a way to calculate Inspection Responses

Our field personnel frequently have to go out and take meter readings and calculate the difference in readings to determine if an asset needs replaced. We are using the Inspection application in Maximo to present them with an inspection and have them capture meter readings. In our situation, they capture a reading with amperage applied and one without amperage application and take the difference in the readings to determine if they need to replace an asset. In our current setup we have 2 inspection questions that are of type meter and they capture both readings in the same inspection, just moments apart. There is a 3rd question of type numeric response where they enter the difference between the two readings. They would like the ability for the system to perform the calculation for them. Meter reading 1 - Meter reading 2 = results for question 3. Attached is a screen shot for reference. Please let me know if I can provide further details.
