Contribution Percentage value at station and/or the CU level in CU Estimating

Business Case:

When establishing CIAC (Contribution in Aid of Construction) cost through CUE in some cases a customer may only be required to reimburse us a certain percentage of a span or CU. For example, if the customer is required to reimburse the cost of undergrounding two distribution circuits but our planning department wants to install the spare conduit for two additional circuits the customer should only be required to pay 50% of the cost for any specific span. Because there might be multiple CUs associated to a span and not all CUs are required to be reimbursed by the customer, being able to identify at a CU level a percentage of contribution would be needed.


For CIAC right now, the only option available is to apply Customer contribution Amount or Percentage at Estimate Version level (PLUSDESTVERSION.CONTRIBUTIONPCT / PLUSDESTVERSION.CONTRIBUTIONAMT) which is not ideal in all the cases as described in Business Case.

Having the ability to apply percentage or amount of contribution at CU level would make Estimate more accurate and transparent.

    if I'm understanding the scenario, can you not use a work set to separate out the work at the station/CU level?
