Add the items numbers to the error message in-order to point-out which items are missing in quantity. Error Message : BMXAP0170E - This item is not carried in this storeroom. Run the Estimating Errors report to see the material items that are currently not carried in the storeroom. Select another storeroom and run the action Perform Estimation or contact the Storeroom Manager about having these items carried in this storeroom.

On following the below steps : 

1. Create a new CU estimate record, add work order
and version information.

2. Moves to the stations tab, add the station name and then
moves to the CU tab.

3. On the CU tab add multiple library records. add the
station and then add the multiple library records. Add the
Work Function of I and quantity needed.

Run the estimate for the record and the following error
is thrown when one or more items are of missing quantities:

BMXAP0170E - This item is not carried in this storeroom. Run the Estimating Errors report to see the material items that are currently not carried in the storeroom. Select another storeroom and run the action Perform Estimation or contact the Storeroom Manager about having these items carried in this storeroom.

We would like to know if there is a way in which we can add the items numbers to the error message in-order to point-out which items are missing in quantity.

Its difficult for the business to point out the items causing the error, hence this would facilitate workability and save time.

    Hi,

    Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. Unfortunately, after evaluating this idea, we don’t believe it aligns with our product strategy and roadmap. Therefore, we will not be considering it for inclusion in our product at this time. Thank you again for your feedback.

    After review, we have assessed this request in detail.

    The Estimating Errors report already lists the specific item numbers, descriptions, and related issues that cause the estimation failure.

    Since the required information is available through the existing report, adding item numbers directly into the system error message is not necessary.

    As a result, this idea will not be taken forward.
