Ability to Disable Rich Text in Maximo Log Notes and Long Description Fields

When users are modifying a log note, the system automatically inserts RICH TEXT special characters at the end of the modified log note. E.g. Paragraph breaks, bullet points etc. gets modified with the rich text/special characters after the log is saved. This hampers readability for the user community. Additionally, the special characters associated with rich text is causing significant integration failures when MAS is integrated with external applications contributing to technical debt.

Having a configuration in MAS to enable/disable rich text as per customer's requirement will benefit many, alleviating the need to invest time and effort in building a custom solution.

Note: This ability was available in Maximo EAM 7.6 version.
