Our Hanwha cameras allows for quick saving of video using its built in recording feature. Which then saves an .avi file to your local PC. This would be really helpful, if the MVI training server would allow .avi codec for action detection models.

You can record and save the live screen to a PC. Click the Record icon to start recording; click the icon again to stop recording. Recorded files are saved in .avi format and can be saved in the default path of the browser or a file path can be set the 'Save as' window. This is a great way to get live video recording very quickly with built in camera features. This would remove the step of using EDGE pc to gather that video data. We can use the live camera feed, save a video of the live view to our pc. Upload that to the MVI Training server. Then start to build a action model or use that video to play against the deployed model for object detection. Either way, just having the .avi format would save a step
