Feature to split documents by page before sending to WDS

The ability for EMA to split documents by a pre-determined number of pages before passing the documents into WDS (e.g. Split documents by page, or by every 2 pages, etc.). We would need these document splits to open the source (un-split) document when the user clicks “Read All” on one of the splits.

The documents that we will be uploading into the EMA collection, for our customer who is a large user of EMA, are diverse in layouts. This challenges using an SDU model to split the documents, since there is not a standard annotatable text field across all the documents (and only one SDU model is available per collection). We have worked with the WD and EMA product owners and ruled out pre-splitting documents before ingesting into EMA and using h tags, based on the restrictions of each. We expect this to be the situation for many future EMA implementations and see this feature as a high-priority need.

    This would be very valuable. The splitting of PDF files is creating significant complexity in our client's integration flows. Additionally, it would be very good if Assist could maintain the relationship of these parts. Ideally it would be implemented as one document having multiple parts/files.
