This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

When using Linear Asset there are issues with the linear layers inside Spatial. For your linear asset you can define relations, features, specifications etc. and for these you can define distance for the Z offset. You can for example define that your stop sign is placed 2 meters to the left of the road. But in Spatial all the linear layers (Maximos layers for specifications, relations, work orders, features etc.) is placed on the same spot on the linear asset. Each relation, feature etc. can have its own length and this is represented in Spatial but they will all be stacked on each other. So if I have define four features on my linear assets, three features with different lengths and one feature with the same length as the linear asset, I will not be able to see that there are four of them. This is because the longest feature will be stacked on top of the assets other three features. This may not be the actual problem but let's say that our three features with different lengths also have an offset of 2 meters. By then they should be placed beside the road and be visible together with the fourth feature. But this is not the case. To have the opportunity to use dynamic offsets for your linear layers inside Spatial would give a great advantage. This would lead to better visibility and most important it would represent something that is closer to what the reality looks like.
