Add the ability to upgrade custom applications

Some implementers clone out of the box Anywhere applications and then customize them. When it comes time to upgrade, these custom applications are not automatically upgraded and a file comparison tools is needed to identify the differences so they can be applied to the new version of the application. It would be a smoother upgrade if custom applications were also automatically upgraded by the process.

    Thank you for your feedback and ideas. Unfortunately, after evaluating this idea, we don’t believe it aligns with our product roadmap strategy and therefore will not be considering it further. Thank you again for your feedback.

    Note for the IBM Maximo Anywhere dev team

    Could an Anywhere specific version of the mxdiff and mxapply tool be developed for this?

    The Anywhere team controls the file formats so you could make them easier for the comparison process
