Windows version of app Maximo Mobile for EAM requires running the Shell scripts which raises a risk for clients such as APA who have stricter policies around Shell scripts

Hi there - my customer uses Windows tablets for Maximo Mobile for EAM app. We have found that the Windows version app installation requires permission to run the Windows Shell scripts. My client has restrictions around allowing the Shell scripts execution and this is why it was halting the app installation. Eventually, they had to grant the tablet permission to run the Shell scripts which allowed app to install successfully. We had a call with IBM team on this and they had mentioned about re-writing the code and removing the dependency on Shell script. It would be great to have this. Thanks.
