Hide the chevron button to display lookup values when there are no values to be displayed

In Maximo Mobile, a number of fields have lookup values associated with them. These are accessed by clicking the chevron icon next to the actual field In order to improve user experience, it would be great if feasible to disable or hide the chevron button when there are no lookup values to be displayed That would save the user a few clicks from having to go into the lookup list only to see no values and click again to return to their main flow

    I am sorry to inform you that our development team has evaluated the request and has determined that it would lead to performance issues. The enhancement would require to pre-load lookup data on a page to determine if the lookup is empty or not, potentially for multiple lookups at once.
