Anywhere public playstore app to handshake against user certificate store

android api 24 and above by default is not configured to handshake against the user certificate store but rather the system certificate store only. Thus, if connecting against a Maximo environment with internally issued certificates anywhere is unable to handshake even with the appropriate root certificates loaded onto the device (into the user certificate store). In order to do so updates must be applied to androidmanifest.xml to call network_security_config.xml and network_security_config.xml needs something to this effect:

<network-security-config>

<domain-config>

<trust-anchors>

<!-- Trust preinstalled CAs -->

<certificates src="system" />

<!-- Additionally trust user added CAs -->

<certificates src="user" />

</trust-anchors>

</domain-config>

</network-security-config>

Propose that this configuration be applied to publically available apks on google play store. Additionally recommend that this be applied as a configuration for the default anywhere container supplied with the anywhere install.

    As part of the review process, we strive to be transparent about our intentions with each enhancement suggestion. The offering team has carefully reviewed this idea and has decided that it does not fit into our current plans, so the idea will be closed. The idea will be kept in IBM's ideas repository and may still be voted on. It might be reassessed or reopened for additional feedback in the future.
