SLS to return App Points when the session ends - Affects Scania

Found this during when Scania (biggest MAS customer) went live with MAS+MS. After doing a deep-dive into the SLS with engineering we noticed that App Points didn´t get released back to the pool when the session timeout was exceeded (30 min for Scania).

The App Points are taken "hostage" and can´t be reused for another user for 12 hours. The only case when App Points gets released is when users manually logs out. This causes Scania to consume App Points way faster than they should, but it also messes up the reporting (concurrent users peaks and App Points consumption), making rescoping difficult. The CC usage and App Points are calculated via the SLS due to the consumption of App Points.

This bug has many affects on my customer and will have affect other big MAS+MS customers as we move along. Getting the SLS to return the App Points to the pool when the session ends would solve these issues. Case: TS009307132

    Hi Evin, Thank you for taking the time to provide your idea to IBM. Your request relates to some session management capabilities that are incomplete.
