Integration : RESTAPI Calls to update PO information

Case Reference: TS010301109

As per the current MIF logic , when a PO information is updated through a RESTAPI call , status of the PO automatically changes to WAPPR and then APPR even though status update is not part of the body/call.

Due to this MIF limitation there is always going to be status discrepancy on the PO status history since you will find WAPPR as the last status update on the history and the actual status of the PO which is displaying as APPROVED.

This enhancement is requested to fix/enhance MIF logic in order to avoid status discrepancy on the status history table of the PO

    The requested functionality is available in Maximo 7.6.1.2 and later versions, by setting the system property mxe.oslc.cannotEditApprovedPOPR = 1. Doing so the system will not set the PO statuses to WAPPR for editing purposes, and thus won't cause a discrepancy between the status history table of the PO.

    This idea was put into the Nuclear portal, however in reading the idea, it appears to be a general Maximo/Manage Supply Chain (Procurement) idea. Please comment if this is not the case.
