Automated dosage calculation in Workorder

In Maximo nuclear, there is a key missing feature which is important for Nuclear industry- Automated Dosage calculation.


It would be good to have automated dosage calculated based on Workorders.

Dosage*Quantity*duration -- which could be displayed in a field.

Also, if there are child workorders and the child work order location has radiation, the child wos dosage to be calculated and displayed.

Sum of all child wos dosage + main wo dosage --> to be displayed in main work order.

This would be very useful information in getting Radiation permit manager approvals to proceed for the wo or not.


Benefits:

Review of Radiation dosage, approval by Permit authorities

Safety in maintenance with respect to Radiation dosages for the workorder. Helps in reviews from Radiation protetction team.

    Thank you for your idea. I think this is a good idea, but needs more information including where is the dosage coming from, and how would that come into Maximo.
