Provide a list of security exceptions necessary to enable the Java Security Manager without breaking TRIRIGA

We have a requirement to enable the Java Security Manager (a.k.a. Java 2 Security) but we do not know which security exceptions are required for TRIRIGA. We are using the embedded Liberty server that is packaged with TRIRIGA. We attempted to enable the Java Security Manager through Liberty but were unable to provide the necessary exceptions for a successful TRIRIGA startup. We used the "websphere.java.security.norethrow=true" option in the Liberty bootstrap.properties file while debugging. We iterated with running TRIRIGA and incrementally adding exceptions, but found it difficult to identify all necessary exceptions. We either need a list of required exceptions, or we need to know what security settings are in place by default, or which settings need to be in place to achieve the same protection provided by the Java Security Manager. This is urgent for us since this is preventing us from meeting our company's IT compliance requirements.

The open JDK team has deprecated support for the Java Security Manager. For more information: https://openjdk.java.net/jeps/411 For this reason we don't plan to support it.
