Add additional search parameters to UX workplace services building lookup

This is related to PMR TS007850042. Currently, when using UX workplace services and any associated UX applications (i.e. reserve, service request, move me), the building lookup search only allows building name and city. It would be beneficial to add the ability to search by other building properties such as state, country, property, or building ID. This would be beneficial because not all users of the tools have a working knowledge of a company's real estate portfolio, and often building names and city names follow the real estate data and are not always user friendly. For example, in our company, we utilize building IDs based on real estate data, which is also what our human resource department uses. However, the building name is a common name based on the real estate information and legal lease data. The international end users are only aware of the building code, but cannot search for it using this tool. In other cases, especially in large metropolitan areas, the building may be located in a suburb or adjacent city, but the users may not be aware of that because they do not live there. Physical addresses, which is what we use for real estate and legal reasons, do not always match with what an end user would expect to see. For example, I am located in Beaverton, but if I were explaining my location to a coworker in Korea, I would not say Beaverton, I would say Oregon, outside Portland, on the west coast of the United States. I do this because these areas my be easier for a non-local to understand and relate to. If that same person were to search in the UX for my location, they could not find it.

Thank you for your feedback and ideas. We have addressed this idea in our updated Reserve app which is planned for release this year. However, we do not have plans to update the Workplace Services Portal with this change in the near-term. Please don’t hesitate to resubmit for re-evaluation after 12 months if you feel it is still valid and important.

Thank you again for your feedback.

Thank you for submitting your Idea. There are no current plans to include this feature in a future TRIRIGA Release but we have included in our backlog for future consideration.
