Floorplans in UX perceptive apps do not allow removal of blank rows in labels

When creating graphic reports, labels, and themes in Tririga Classic for use in floorplan views, the theme Business Object is the only level in which there is an option to remove blank rows from the label.

However, in UX perceptive apps, applying a theme is not an option, only a label can be applied, therefore, when there is no data (blank rows) in the space, a hash mark is placed. This can cause multi-line labels to overlap with adjacent spaces and reduces the ability to display multiple lines of data in a floorplan.

Administrators should be able to apply this option of removing blank rows in UX perceptive apps, as it cleans up the floorplan and enables the ability to display additional information for end user benefit.

Possible solutions

  • Option 1: Add "remove blank rows" Boolean field and workflows to the space label Business Object in classic and translate this functionality into UX so that any label with the Boolean field checked would also remove blank rows in UX perceptive applications

  • Option 2: Allow UX perceptive applications to utilize Themes as opposed to labels and graphic reports only. Allow existing Boolean field in themes to remove blank rows in UX perceptive apps when themes are applied.
