When Publishing Meta Data (Workflow, Business Objects, Forms, etc) allow developers to add a comment

When developing TRIRIGA customizations it would be ideal if the developer could put in a comment when "Publishing" their work, similar to a "check in" comment in other source repositories.

This would allow IBM, Business Partners, and customers doing their own configurations to track why the change occurred. These comments could include the incident that was resolved or the functionality that was changed/enhanced at the time the change is made, etc.

I would also like to see an environment flag to indicate if the comment was required (or not) to publish changes.

When a label is applied and the object is exported, it would be great to have an option to export a concatenated comment of all comments since the last labeled version of the meta data and include it in the OM package. This would tell us why all of the changes occurred between released versions.

Tracking the comment is a great first step. Longer term I would like to see this integrated to a source repository, so that the publish uses the comment and the XML file for the metadata (as it would be included in an OM Package) to create a commit (that then could be use for detailed compares).
