Currency value is showing as $100.000.000,00 instead of $100,000,000.00 when we login to IBM Tririga Environment with user having User Language as “Spanish”.

Requirement: - Users want to see the number format of value $100,000,000.00. Enable the number fields globally into system to use a period for decimal and comma for thousands grouping separators (i.e. 1,000,000.99).

    Hello Andy,

    Please find my comment below:

    4. In Europe, the number format for this locale is correctly showing with the decimal point as a comma with 100s, 1000s etc separators being a "." (the inverse of English). This is true in e.g. French too.

<PB> This is incorrect, the French display mask is space as the grouping separator and comma as a decimal separator Please find attached document.

    5. This can be overridden in a user’s profile on their My Profile tab where the user can select a Currency Default e.g. US Dollars or any other, the time zone, the date format, and date time format.

    <PB> This one is correct

    6. Additionally, there are Unit of Measure defaults that contain a Display Mask that will be picked up for all users e.g. ###,###.00 (see screenshots)

    <PB> This one is correct

    7. So, this should allow either a Spanish language user to pick up US Dollars with the right mask unless they have set their Currency Default to other dollars or another currency, where it will pick up the Display Mask for that other currency e.g. ###.###,00

Are you saying that it's not correctly following this behavior and picking up the incorrect display mask for USD? Can you provide screenshots for the user it is failing for?

<PB> We created new UOM_Values of Pesos Mexicanos and added display mask as ###,###.00 added this Currency to the user profile with User Language = ”Spanish” . But it is not getting updated with the new display mask, instead updated with the the ###.###,00.

Let me know if you have any question,

    Thanks,

    Preeti.
