Disable Automatically Assign Zeros on Empty Number Fields When User Tab Through The Number Fields

When a user tab through an empty number (or UOM) field, the system should not automatically assign a 0 to the field, as that would eliminate the capability to keep track of actual untouched number fields, which can be critical in practical usages, as in many cases 0 does not equal to empty or untouched field.

    Hello Bruce, Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. It appears that this issue is a defect with the current functionality. A PMR was opened (# TS009132256 and an APAR (# IJ40703) to address this issue. Please contact customer support to request status of solution. I am going to close this Idea request.
